This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Richard Longino. He was born on July 16, 1974 in Atlanta, GA to Young & Shirley Longino and passed away on August 26, 2007 at the age of 33 after a long battle with kidney disease. Richard was a technician for the Georgia Department of Transportation.
He lived to ride 4-wheelers, loved Fishing and enjoyed Remote controlled cars. Among all things he loved anything to do with Racing and was a master of Video Games.
Racing was just in his blood, from bicycles to dirtbikes, 4-wheelers to Nascars, he loved them all, from the time he was 5, where wasn't anything he couldn't or wouldn't ride. One of Richard's biggest thrills was when he drove a nascar at Atlanta Motor Speedway on April 15th, 2005. Richard lived his life to the very fullest.
He always brought great joy to our life & will be dearly missed. We will never forget all the wonderful times we had & the hearts he touched will always have a special place just for him.
He was especially close to his Mom, and Richard was just the light of her life, "her pride and joy". No words can ever express the unbearable pain and loss a mother feels when her child no matter what age goes ahead of her. The hole left in her heart can never be filled.
He will be missed more than words can say by many who knew him and all who loved him. Richard was a unique young man with a heart of gold, A wonderful Son, Brother, Friend, and co-worker. He fought a courageous battle and endured more pain and suffering than most see in a life time, but you never saw him without that beautiful smile. That was just our Richard!
Thank you Richard for all the beautiful memories you left us all
Richard is survived by his Parents & younger brother, Michael Longino of Newnan, GA and is proceded by his grandfather Jerald Connally of Newnan, GA

Richard your missed more than you'll ever know

We knew little that Sunday morning, that God was going to call your name. In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone for part of us went with you, the day God called you home. You left us precious memories, your love is still our guide; And though we can not see you, you are always at our side. Our family chain is broken and nothing seems the same, but as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.
